If you are like me, than you are suffering from a serious withdrawal over the summer hiatus for The Walking Dead. You are probably biding your time with memes from Steven Yeun, pics of Norman Reedus hugging everyone in America, or trolling through Tumblr like a love sick puppy. Luckily, we got a pic of Rick Grimes treading precariously through the woods of Georgia and the following information from an interview that IGN had with creator/executive producer Robert Kirkman.
What they discussed revolved around the bad guy of the third season, the Governor:
“Yeah, [The Governor] is still very much in the mix. That’s certainly not the last that we’ll see of him. When we see him again and where we see him again, that’s the big question,” he said.
Unlike in Season 3, Kirkman made it very clear that the Governor and Rick (Andrew Lincoln) wouldn’t be directly facing off with one another, but the former would be utilized in a different manner.
It’s not going to be like it was in Season 3; it’s not going to be Rick and the Governor on a collision course with a conflict between them. He’ll be used in very different ways next season.”
Hopefully, this will tide us over for a bit as we have to wait until Sunday, October 13 to see the beginning of the 4th season.
Now, regarding the longevity of the show, THR spoke with AMC CEO Josh Sapan and he said the following:
“We hope that zombies live forever and we’ve just begun to find out what the post-apocalyptic world is like,” said Sapan, “so that we’ll be sitting here at the Barclays conference in 2022 discussing the fact that Walking Dead is not over … at that point, I think any one of the companies will have replaced the United States government and we’ll be in a complete free enterprise world in which there are no nations.”
This is awesome news, but I do not think my nerves can handle all the stress that this show induces for thirteen weeks every year.
Kelly and Maria are back and they spend a bit of time on the latest murmurings about Alexander Skarsgard leaving True Blood as well as who Sookie Stackhouse picks at the end of the Sookie Stackhouse series. Is it Eric, Bill or Sam…???
During SBLC, Kelly reviews Lover at Last by J.R. Ward and she loved it!
In movies, Maria destroys the Host and the ladies discuss the latest news on the Divergent, Mortal Instruments and Crow movies.
They will also cover the latest news and spoilers to some of your favorite shows, i.e. The Vampire Diaries, Arrow, Supernatural, Revolution, Grimm, Doctor Who, Beauty and the Beast, True Blood, Grimm, and much, much more….
You will also listen on what the ladies thought were the best shows in April and the one show that totally dropped the ball…
If you would like to listen to the podcast, you can download it here, via iTunes or the Zune Marketplace.

The Vampire Diaries: We will be seeing a couple of old faces and a new one (Silas’ true face, partially that is) in the coming weeks. We know that one will be Jeremy Gilbert, but what about…? I feel like Tyler is an obvious choice, but you can never tell with this show. We will also find out why Klaus and Haley are so connected. Plus, the kids of Mystic Falls will be facing the dreaded question of what will they do next with their lives.
It took us a couple of episodes to realize that Sonequa Martin Green portrayed two key character in Once Upon a Time and in The Walking Dead. Yes, many of us were wondering once she was promoted to series regular on The Walking Dead what would happen to Once’s Tamara. Apparently, due to unique shooting schedules, it seems that we will see Sonequa on both shows for the time being.
As the year progresses we will update this section with new books that we think you will like.

And thanks so much to Maria and Tamara from Last Bite. I did a podcast with them over the weekend which is now available to listen. Tamara and Maria asked some great questions – and did some great editing, because wow, can I ramble, but thankfully they managed to make me sound almost coherent .
