TVLine stated the following:
Stop asking yourself who dies and start asking yourself who does the killing. That’s what people will be talking about the following morning
at the watercooleron line at Starbucks.
They also went on to say that a big secret would be unearthed and it would change the course of the show. This stands to reason because at the rate the show was going… Mystic Falls would be a town filled with only Supernatural creatures and those that want to hunt them down. What fun would that be?
There was a fun little bit on Castiel and Dean’s relationship in Purgatory:

It will have a different effect on Cas and Dean as you already started to see [in the Season 7 finale]. This will be a roller-coaster of a season for the CW shows and I think fans will love it!!!!
