Synopsis: Liam shares a terrible truth with Josh and Nora. More of Aidan’s past is revealed as he deals with Kenny’s transformation and Kat discovering a terrible secret.
My recap: For a season finale, you have to admit that Being Human pulled out all the stops.
We got closure on the Liam storyline, or so we think, with an epic battle that left the biggest casualty of all, that being Josh. Here is a guy that at one time was repulsed by his werewolf-iness and is now embracing it. Is it because when he was turned the second time around it was by a purebred? Or is it because he has learned that it is better to embrace your curse instead of abhorring it?
Sally is once again a ghost and her body is back in her original grave and that should be it. She should be tied to the house and spending the rest of eternity slowly falling deeper and deeper in love with the handsome and messed up vampire that she resides with. Yet, when has it ever been easy for Sally? Nope, Donna has come back and has dragged Sally back down to what we can only assume is not a nice place. Will anyone notice that she is gone? Will they once again try to save her soul?
Aidan started off the episode in a swimmingly well good mood. He and Cat made sweet, sweet love and all was right in the world. But, his kid screams after he sees what he has become and on top of that his girlfriend found Sally’s body and she runs like a bat out of hell. Then, after Nora informs Liam that she was the one that killed his son and Aidan was just covering for her, Liam shows up and shoots him in the head. To top it all off, he lets go of his kid because he cannot do what is right and he now owes the one vampire that irritates him the most because she compelled Cat.
The biggest shocker was when we saw Aidan’s wife pop out of a cab.
Yea… it will be an insane 4th season, we just have to wait eight months to see it.

Synopsis: Josh, Aidan, and Sally battle Donna. Kenny wakes up, but things do not go as expected.
My recap: Finally a happy ending thrice over… Sally, w/ the help of Josh and Aiden, defeat Donna and is now Sally is a well-dressed ghost. Josh and his sister have made amends and Josh and Nora finally got married. Aidan let love in and now has a girlfriend and he acknowledges her as such. Well done indeed!
My favorite moments really were about Josh and Nora. This is a couple that has proven time and again their love for one another. As they said their vows to one another (Josh wrote out his feelings and all Nora could muster was “I love you,” which was perfect), you couldn’t help but pray that out of all of them, these two would get their well-deserved happily ever after.
Sally’s storyline was interesting because 1. We knew she was going to be a ghost again and 2. There was no real way that this show would get rid of her. So, I was just waiting to see how they would continue to make her relevant to the show.
Aidan, who has continuously suffered with the consequences from his decision-making, has decided to throw caution to the wind and is letting things fall into the place that they are meant to fall. Yet, he knows that he will continue to have to deal with the decisions he has made… especially with Kenny.
Ultimately, this episode was one of the bright spots of a very dark season and it also closed a couple of loose ends.
Unfortunately, these were not the only storylines to plague us this season. There is still the issue of Kenny, who will wake up looking nothing like he used to and feel as if Aidan betrayed him. Aidan will, of course, have to fix his mess. This will cause him to relive the Henry issue and may set him back a bit.
Then there is the issue of Liam. For weeks now, we wondered where he is. Well, he was just waiting for the perfect time to attack and apparently that is the night of their honeymoon. Remember, Josh has not changed, so his strength is not up to par with Liam. Yet, the main issue of contention is if Nora will survive the night. Will any woman survive the night? Liam would be the type of bad guy that would kidnap Aidan’s and also kidnap Josh’s sister to make them pay for what he perceives to have happened to his children.
If you saw the little promo, than you know Sally will have to deal with the ghost of Donna. What may come of this haunting is really the biggest mystery.
Overall, you can feel it in your bones that the season finale will be painful.
What are your thoughts on tonight’s episode and next week’s finale?
Synopsis: Sally continues to deteriorate as Josh and Nora try to help out by searching for a solution. Aidan’s good intentions take him and Kenny on an unexpected adventure.
My recap: It seems like Sally has come to a point in her new existence where she knows she has to confront Donna to get some resolution to her current decaying state. She learned that she had to finish all her unfinished business and that meant saying goodbye to the love of her second chance at life. It was bitter sweet and I am sorry that we will not see Bobby Campo every once in a while. Now, the reason she came to this present state of resolution is that she visited the psychic that pointed her to Donna. Unfortunately, the psychic was killed by the Were that turned Josh the first time, Ray.
What did I say? I told you this was going to happen.
Now, Aidan allowed Kenny to live out one day as your typical all American teenaged boy, which meant playing with a dog and going to a stripper club, where the strippers are Vampires. This is also the place where Josh was having his bachelor party, which was thrown by his little sister and this is the place where his little sister found out the truth about what her brother, Nora and Aidan truly are. It was just too much for her to wrap her head around and as a result, she turned her back on her brother.
Even after everything that happened at the club, Kenny still wanted to be turned. Yet, Aidan starts to have regrets afterwards because he realized that in his blackouts, he has turned individuals into creatures of the night. Yet, they do not look like what they did when they were human.
Josh and Nora continue to discuss their wedding, but at this point… do you think it will really happen? I’m starting to wonder.
This season is quickly coming to a close, with only two episodes left…
Synopsis: Stevie asks Sally to kill him; and Aidan takes Kat out on a date, during which he’s overwhelmed by memories of his wife and son.
My recap: Ultimately, this show is a tragedy with so many acts that it makes you wonder what trials and tribulations will this trio have to go through before they reach their inevitable end.
Yes, we saw both Aidan and Josh break through their respective walls in order to move to the next step that will enable them to happily function as supernatural creatures. For Aiden, it is remembering his marriage and the birth of his son in order to understand the gift of what Kat is willing and openly giving him… her love. For Josh it is trying to connect to his inner wolf and understanding that his plight can be used for good, i.e. killing Stevie (upon Stevie’s request) in order to stop himself from going on a killing spree to feed his need for flesh. Unfortunately, Josh learned that there was deal struck between the vampires that allowed Nora and Josh to be safe from the vampires, yet all other weres were fair game. Liam even…
But, it is Sally that makes us shake our head in pity. Here is a character that strived to be a viable member of this little family. Yet, time and time again she comes up against these obstacles that put those that she loves in danger. This time it is Nick and Stevie, but she knows that her current issues stem from Donna, who is working her black magic for some unknown reason. When their doors popped up, it led them to Donna. This Donna, also has holds the key to her soul. Will she, Josh and Nora have a shot at saving it?
Next time: Sally continues to deteriorate as Josh and Nora search for Donna the witch.
As the year progresses we will update this section with new books that we think you will like.
