Doctor Who starts filming on the 20th of Feb.

The Guardian interviewed Matt Smith in which he discussed returning to Cardiff to start filming the brand new series of Doctor Who.

Production begins on Monday 20th February, with Scottish director Saul Metzstein starting the proceedings. “I am very excited,” Matt said. “We’ve got four or five scripts which look in really good shape. The casting’s going really well as well. I found out a lovely bit of news this morning actually, about someone who’ll be in it.”

The 7th series has been described at the biggest series yet and begins airing in the Fall.
