Game of Thrones Premiere Date Set
Today, HBO announced Game of Thrones Season 2 will Premiere at 9pm EST on April 1st!
So, with a release date set, you may be wondering what we can expect from season 2.
Well, actor Nonso Anozi, who’ll portray Xaro Xhoan Daxos in the upcoming season told Coming Soon the following in regard to the sophomore season of the show:
“Season 2 is bigger. It goes deeper into the politics of what is going on and there is also a lot of action. There is a whole episode devoted to a war, that’s going to be a big. There is whole episode devoted to a huge… I can’t say anymore!”
“[He's] the prince of Qarth, and Daenerys runs into him and he’s like, ‘Hey…hey, how you doing?’ and things, well, you’ll see. It’s pretty damn good. For me, when you work on a job, you’re like, ‘Great, I got the job,’ then you get to the set and it’s like, whoa, look at this set. Normally, you’re at a point where it’s just a job, okay. But with ‘Game of Thrones,’ it just exceeded all expectations. Everyone’s on top of their game. Just amazing.”
Another new cast member, Tom Wlaschiha, was also forthcoming with information about his character in a recent interview with Teen First.
Here’s what he told them about his character and said characters role in the story during season 2:
“My role a magical assassin called Jaqen H’ghar and he mainly interacts with Arya, the little stark girl, and he is a teacher.
“What I liked about that character is that at the beginning he appears as one of the bad guys because he is introduced as an assassin but he turns out to be more her teacher and helps her to kill off her enemies.
“And I got to shape-shift which was great – it was my first shape-shift on screen (laughs).”
So, I assume everyone will be watching April 1st! I know I will!
What do y’all wanna see in season 2?
