    I had read that if you enjoyed the Harry Potter books you would enjoy Twilight, so I listened to all of the audiobooks (multitasking!) and I thought the story was cute but terribly written. I guess I could now agree with Brenda and Jenni that the writing is more “mediocre” than it is terrible. If only Meyer could get away from the words “chagrin” and “grimace.” I was so sick of hearing those by the end. Or going on and on for paragraphs about how hot Bella thought Edward was.

    It was because of Twilight that I listened to/read the Sookie books so that’s a plus because I definitely like them MUCH better and Charlaine is a great writer. Her characters have depth and real lives and way cooler stuff going on.
