A little hint about Season 2 from TV Guide…

When will we find out who’s dead in the car on True Blood? — Neil
MICKEY: Since the season premiere (airing Sunday, June 14, 9 pm/ET) picks up right where we left off, the victim’s identity is revealed in short order. As you might have already guessed, Season 2′s first casualty is related to Tara, but not in a way that you will guess. At first blush, the significance of said death will not be apparent, but just wait! Also, a minor character’s drinking problem will resurface — hilariously.

    If you play the new True Blood online sweepstakes, when you go to the cemetary there is a headstone that changes names when you click on it. All the character’s names who died in season 1 and the name Lafayette Reynolds. Maybe it is Lafayette that dies?

    I think its Miss Jeanette or Tara’s mom and Bill feed off of Lafayette…

    I think Tara is one of the best characters on the show. Without her and Lafayette the show would be a bore, the first season anyway. I agree with Alan Ball there is no way you live in Louisiana and not have minorities. Anyway if you read the book the dead person should be Lafayette, however Alan likes to change things up so you never know with him.

    I don’t think AB is getting rid of Lafayette – his character is too valuable. Why would he (Lafayette- not sure what real name is) be at Paley with AB and cast if he is not part of Season 2? I think it is Miss Jeanette- and Tara’s mom starts drinking again.
