Sam Witwer Gives a Little Insight into the Character of Aidan

Sam Witwer (Aidan, Being Human) was recently interviewed by Television Blend and he gave them a little of information about his character, Aidan.
During the interview he alluded to several flashbacks and scenes which will air in upcoming episodes that will show us a completely different side of Aidan.
“Aidan was out of his mind. Sociopathic. Psychopathic. He was beyond what you would consider sane. We get to see moments of that break through where our nice Aidan does something that’s just, you just don’t see coming and it’s really hard to watch.”
He also gave them a little insight into the mysterious Celine tattoo on Aidan’s chest.
“The tattoo of Celine – that’s extremely significant and ties in, in many ways, to elements that we’re already aware of and characters that we’re already aware of, but we do not know that just yet. What can I say without spoiling it? Extremely significant. For a vampire to tattoo a person’s name on his chest, you gotta take that person very seriously.”
It sure seems that there is a lot more to Aidan than meets the eye.
We know, from the the few episodes that have aired, that Aidan has made drastic changes in his life — Changes that Bishop is not very happy about. And now, it seems we’ll soon begin to see what led him down the road in the first place.
Could it have been his relationship with Celine? Was it something else entirely? Or perhaps, it was a combination of many different things that forced him into changing himself for what he feels is the better.
