A classic Karen Marie Moning highlander romance tale, in which we meet Jane. Jane feels like she was born of another era and this feeling stems from her kilt-wearing dream lover. One day, when all hope is lost, she gets a package. In it, there’s a tapestry and guess who’s visage is staring richt back at her. That’s right, her dream lover. She ends up being transported back and she comes across the man that has made her wish her dream life was her real life since she was a wee lass. But, there is a hitch, Jane’s dream man is not all that he is cracked up to be. Now, Jane is hell bent on getting her dream lover back from the icy cold depths of his servitute to the Unseelie King.

This was a fun and quick read and left me wanting more and more. Time to re-read the highlander series for me and possibly just up and move to Scotland so I can find my highlander… don’t tell my husband though.

I wholeheartedly suggest that you pick this book up because you not only get the novella, but you get other goodies like:

A proposal for a tale titled Ghost of a Chance
Deleted scenes from Kiss of the Highlander
The Dark Highlander Lite
Excerpt from Darkfever
and a sneak peek of the Fever Moon graphic novel.

Great buy and a nice addition to your Karen Marie Moning section of your library.

Spoiler Time: The Walking Dead’s Andrew Lincoln on Season 3

Monday, April 30th, 2012

By Kelly H.

We’ve still got a few months till Season 3 of AMC’s The Walking Dead, but according to Andrew Lincoln the first few episodes are in the works.  “They’ve roughly plotted the first eight episodes and it’s insane, [it's] just insane this show,” the actor told Digital Spy.  “It’s not adhering to the comic books – they threw in a death this season [just finished] when the character doesn’t die for years. So that flipped the [comic] fanbase as well. They’re afforded the opportunity to play with that and kind of tease them.”

So, it seems there’s no telling what could happen on the show and that it will continue to stray from the familiar pages of the comics.

The Walking Dead’s third season will premiere this October.  Be sure to comment and tell us what you think will happen in the upcoming season.

Spoiler Time: Lucy Griffith Spills About Her Character on True Blood

Monday, April 30th, 2012

By Kelly H.

Lucy Griffith, who’ll portray Nora in Season 5 of True Blood recently dropped a few hints about her character on the show.

As you may remember from previous casting spoilers, Nora is Eric’s sister, having been sired by Godric, and she’s a member of the Vampire Authority, but she recently revealed a little more about her character to TV Guide’s Ken Keck.  “She’s an irreverent British lady who we think was turned during Elizabethan or Victorian times,” she revealed.

She also expressed her character’s excitement to pay a visit to her big brother.  “It’s been years since she’s seen Eric, and she is very excited. She looks up to him, but they’ve had a fiery love/hate relationship in the way that brothers and sisters do.”

We should meet Nora in the Season premiere which will air on June 10th.

Spoiler Time: Could Robin Williams be Fringes’ next big guest star?

Monday, April 30th, 2012

(TV Line/ Matt Webb Mitovitch)  Now that we are for sure getting a fifth (albeit final) season, here’s one face you might see pop up in the show’s forever twisty universe: Robin Williams. TV’s erstwhile Mork, who after a long string of big screen outings has in recent years guested on Law & Order: SVU, Louie and, coming up, Wilfred, says Fox’s sci-fi series is at the top of his list to visit next. “My god, Fringe would be amazing,” he told me at the Comedy Awards, where he was honored as a Stand-Up Icon. (Williams also is high on Homeland, though frankly we can only see his bearded self playing Mandy Patinkin’s twin brother.) In fact, the funny man is game to join a TV series on a full-time basis. “F—in’ A, yeah, I’d do it — if it was fun,” he said.

Spoiler Time: Grimm — When will Rosalee and Monroe have a love scene, instead of just exchanging meaningful glances?

Monday, April 30th, 2012

There’s mad chemistry between Monroe and Rosalee on Grimm, which has us all rooting for them and wondering if they’ll ever actually become a couple.

Well, actress Bree Turner, who portrays Rosalee on the show is wondering too.  “Believe me. I want to know, too!” Turner told OregonLive.com in a recent interview.  “There’s a lot of dilly-dallying going on. But we’ll have to wait and see if this is delivered in the finale.”
