Spoiler Time: ‘True Blood’ scoop: Pam’s ready for a witch hunt

Here’s the latest from EW’s Michael Ausiello …

Making a rare appearance in daylight at the Emmys, True Blood-sucker Kristin Bauer told me that she’s more than ready for what I’ve already dubbed “the season of the witch.” In fact, though her iceberg-lettuce-cool character spent much of this season being tortured and crying type-O-neg tears, she promises that before the finale, we’ll get to see Pam… Well, she describes it better than I could. Or at least less profanely. See for yourself in the video after the jump.

E! – Jessica in Tenn.: Are we going to see something happen with Arlene’s baby situation before the end of the season on True Blood?
As a matter of fact, Mrs. Carrie Preston assures us we will…well, kinda. “Arlene is still very conflicted. But there’s going to be a resolution to the conflict,” she says, “But it’s also going to be open-ended.” Either she’s speaking in tongues or my Emmy (lack of sleep and too much ginger ale) hangover is worse than I thought. Does that make any sense to anyone? Carrie’s equally wonderful hubby Michael Emerson weighed in on the baby drama, saying, “I mean, we have to see the baby,” to which she responded, “If there is a baby…” Now I’m really stumped. She’s not pulling a Terri Schuester is she? Or preggo with some sort of supernatural somethin’? The mind boggles.

Vampire Diaries: Jeremy will change

DS – The Vampire Diaries star Steven R. McQueen has admitted that he enjoys exploring the dark side of his character Jeremy Gilbert.

He told HollywoodNews.com that the character will continue to evolve in the forthcoming second season.

“Jeremy has been one of the most favorite characters I’ve ever played, just because he has gone through so much, and he has been forced to make so many changes,” explained the actor. “You can only be hurt for so long before you turn hard. And that has been interesting to see his progression as the series has gone along.”

However, McQueen – the grandson of Hollywood legend Steve McQueen – refused to confirm whether Jeremy will become a vampire in the new season.

“Obviously I can’t say whether he makes that change or not,” he teased. “But I can say that Jeremy has been pushed around a lot. [In the new season] he starts to push back and stand his ground. He also begins to become a little more cold and calculated.”

The second season of The Vampire Diaries begins September 9 on the CW.

Alexander Skarsgard: No Sock For Nude ‘True Blood’ Scenes

Huffington Post -In the story accompanying the nude and gruesome ‘True Blood’ cover of ‘Rolling Stone,’ the show’s stars talk about how they approach being nude on set.

Alexander Skarsgard goes sockless. “I don’t want a sock around it, that feels ridiculous,” he told the magazine. “If we’re naked in the scene, then I’m naked. I’ve always been that way.”

Stephen Moyer is more modest and opts for a sock but just out of regard for others. “I’ve got nothing to hide,” he said. “I just think it might be embarrassing for the crew.”

His fiancee, Anna Paquin, wears a “patch” on her privates.

The show’s creator, Alan Ball, has no patience for stories of celibate vampires.

“To me, vampires are sex,” he said. “I don’t get a vampire story about abstinence. I’m 53. I don’t care about high school students. I find them irritating and uninformed.”
