(TV/Guide/Natalie Abrams)  Sure, Sookie was drunk (damn those Orange Marzipans!) when they hooked up, but that doesn’t mean that she’ll regret her roll in the hay with Alcide. “Their relationship goes a lot deeper than that,” Joe Manganiello tells us. “The fun thing about that scene is that it plays really real and adult. Kids at home, that is how babies are made.” Wait, does that mean Sookie’s going to be knocked up with… cubs?

(E!/Kristin dos Santos)  It’s definitely possible. Assuming of course that Alcide could get over that whole “you killed my ex-wife” thing. Alcide’s confession last season to Sookie and his desire to protect her is very much present in the season premiere, but like all things in Bon Temps, romance is on the back burner until the bodies are buried. Oh what? Yep, multiple bodies need to be disposed of. Don’t worry, there is a terribly sexy growl from Alcide in there too.

The cast of True Blood will grace the cover of the June 15th issue of Entertainment Weekly.  Each member will get their own cover, and we’ve got them!

“Alcide’s pissed,” Actor Joe Manganiello told Access Hollywood.

Why is Alcide pissed, you may wonder?

Well, back in season four Alcide was put in the position of having to kill Marcus and he’s not happy he had to do it, but it will give his character renewed strength in the coming season.

“He’s pissed he had to do that, but he’s in that situation and he’s not taking anybody’s crap anymore,” Manganiello insisted.  “This season’s really a third act to a three act play and you are going to see his transformation into the big bad wolf this year.”

So does this mean he’ll be becoming packmaster?  Sorta sounds that way to me.

And what about him and Sookie?  Every big bad wolf needs their Red Riding Hood don’t they?

Unfortunately, he wouldn’t really say anything about that when asked about the trailer for the show — which showed Alcide looking as if he’s about to kiss her.

“Oh wow, yeah, those trailers that are floating around on the internet – maybe it happens, maybe it doesn’t, maybe it’s a dream sequence, maybe it’s reality, I don’t know. You will get answers this season though,” he told them laughing.

True Blood’s fifth season begins June 10th at 9pm EST.  Will y’all be watching?

TVL – True Blood | Remember Alcide’s crazy ex, Debbie Pelt? Well she’s about to be crazy with family. The HBO drama is in the process of casting the not-so-dearly departed’s mom and dad, Barbara and Gordon, who will hit Bon Temps loaded with questions bout their “missing” little girl. Though both ‘rents are described as “kindly,” Gordon will be riled up and grow defensive soon enough when Alcide speaks ill of the dead. Er, of the “missing.”

He’s doesn’t actually show up until Episode 3 (airing July 10), when Sookie drops by his new suburban crib to ask a favor of him. She quickly discovers that his change of address is but one of two major surprises the big lug has in store for her.

EXTRATV – Actor Joe Manganiello, who plays werewolf Alcide Herveaux on the hit HBO show “True Blood,” talked with “Extra’s” Adrianna Costa about the upcoming Season 4 — including whether or not Alcide does the deed with Sookie (Anna Paquin).

“Well, I can say that in the season finale of Season 3, Alcide made a pass at Sookie, and we’ll definitely pick up where that left off,” teased Manganiello at the Ford Mustang Boss Workshop, where the actor mentors boys with Type 1 diabetes.

Was it weird to do love scenes with Paquin while her real-life husband, Stephen Moyer (who plays vampire Bill Compton), was on the set? Joe laughed, “I can’t say, because if I answered that question I’d be giving away whether or not we hooked up.”

The hunky actor can say he is excited about marrying his real-life girlfriend, actress Audra Marie, to whom he proposed last year. Manganiello said he was totally involved in picking out the engagement ring. “I made it, I helped design it. It’s one of a kind.”
