(Examiner)I’m sure more than a few of us die-hard True Blood fans were wondering just where good ol’ southern gentleman vampire Bill Compton was whisked off to at the end of Season2? While the answer might not be entirely clear to us, yet, Stephen Moyer did drop a little hint about his character’s whereabouts during an interview with MTV last night. Apparently Bill Compton will be “reunited” with his Civil War wife Caroline Compton who is to be played by actress Shannon Lucio. Lucio is replacing Amber Dawn Landrum who played Bill Compton’s wife in the flashback scenes in previous seasons. Moyer delicately sidestepped more pointed questions about the new actress except to say that she is “very delightful”.
“She is lovely, and we do see her in a flashback to Bill’s days,” Stephen told MTV News. “I don’t want to give too much, but she is back in Louisiana at a time when he is in the Civil War. So there is that scene. There’s all sorts of things and I’m not going to tell you about — any of them!”
In other Season 3 spoiler news, TV Over Mind reports that actor Sam Trammell, who plays the shape-shifting bar owner Sam Merlotte, let it slip to reporter Rebecca Murray at the 2010 Spirit Awards that there is a rumored sex scene between Bill Compton and Sam Merlotte in Season 3! Well, well! “I can’t say anything more than that… because people want to be surprised, but there is something that people will be talking about.” Trammell said.
Trammell also mentioned flashback sequences involving Merlotte’s rough childhood on the streets after his adopted parents abandoned him. “There’s some flashbacks to my past, and how I was able to stay afloat as a teenager on the streets, and some of the things I had to do. We really get deep. It’s really good.” He said, but did not elaborate.

Okay, the latter part… Sam and Bill. Just the idea of that on tv… someone bleach my eyes and brain out.
