Joss Whedon’s S.H.I.E.L.D. has filled a few more roles.
Elizabeth Henstridge and Iain De Caestecker have both been cast in the Marvel adaptation.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Henstridge will play science whiz Agent Gemma Simmons, while De Caestecker will play Agent Leo Fitz, a technology guru. The duo spend all their time together — mostly bickering — and are masters of their respective fields at a remarkably young age.

Not only is it Il Maestro’s birthday, Joss Whedon.. for those of you who do not adore all things Sci-fi, but we just got wind that there will be a Firefly 10th Anniversary panel at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con.
Gah! This is the stuff that they should mention when you are weighing your options about a real vacation vs. Comic-Con.
