Thursday, June 24th, 2010

HBO is holding meetings to sell the show domestically, with Charles Schreger, president of HBO Enterprises, spearheading the pitch.

What do you think of that? I think the majority of the show would be blurred and voiced over due to explicit content.

What’s the story behind the pic of Sook and Alcide…

Question: I’m sort of obsessed with your First Look photo of Alcide and Sookie on True Blood. What exactly is going on in the scene? They look a little, um, startled. —Barry
Ausiello:
Their search for Bill takes them to a werewolf bar in Jackson, Mississippi — “hence the howling wolf silhouetted behind them,” notes exec producer Alan Ball. “They’re doing a little amateur sleuthing and they’re sort of surprised by what they find.” My guess? This is what they find.

Question: Any chance Lois Smith could return to True Blood as Sookie’s dearly departed Gram? —Carly
Ausiello:
“There’s a chance,” replies Alan Ball. “I don’t think she’s gonna come back and go like, ‘Oh, you know what? I’m not dead!’ But she certainly can appear in flashbacks or in visions or perhaps there’s a different reality that someone might go into.” I could be mistaken, but that last option smells like a major spoiler. And believe you me, I know what a major spoiler smells like. (For the record, a major spoiler smells like a mix of eggs, cookie dough, and freshly-cut grass).

TB Get your fill

Considering “True Blood” is TV’s biggest water cooler show right now — “OMG, can you believe how hot Sookie and Eric were last night,” for example — it makes total sense that for the third promotional poster, HBO would tap the breakroom’s best kibutz spot.

And HBO has been kind enough to let PopWrap debut the image — which is in good promotional company alongside VILF, Cup of Joe and a trio of 30-second video teasers!

Keep an eye out for next week’s clip (Sunday) and poster (Wednesday), which are all leading up to “True Blood’s” season three premiere on June 13!

So, we know the following:

Alexander Skarsgard is a great kisser, according to Lady Gaga

(Aftonbladet) Lady GaGa has within approximately a year gone from performing on underground clubs in NY to becoming one of the world’s biggest popstars.

She has gotten help from several Swedes along the way – now just recently by our own super vampire, Alexander Skarsgård.

If I would meet Alexander here and now I would kiss him, says Lady GaGa to Aftonbladet.

About shooting the kissing scene in paparazzi:

He was very good. Alexander is very good at kissing, says Lady GaGa about the work.

… so it is real kisses, no ”movie kisses”?

Movie kisses are real kisses. I don’t know how other people do but we were kissing for real.

Have you become friends afterwards?

We have met a few times and he has helped me with my Swedish, but I don’t have the time to get new friends. If I met Alexander here I would be really happy and kiss and hug him. But since I am so busy we haven’t seen each other much.

Kristin Bauer got married:

(Radar Online) She’s Pam the Vampire in the hit HBO drama True Blood but Kristin Bauer looked nothing short of angelic in her stunning white wedding gown on Saturday.

Surrounded by family and close friends, Kristin married South African musician Abri van Straten, of the group The Lemmings at her family’s farm in Wisconsin.

“On the morning of the wedding I woke up to rain but even the weather played along as the relatives arrived,” Kristin told RadarOnline.com exclusively.  “The sky cleared, the sun came out and we had the most perfect wedding.  We are very happy.”

Alexander Skarsgard is in Shreveport filming Straw Dogs.

Off to bed…

Nighty, night!
