Spoiler Time: Janina Gavankar Talks True Blood’s Fifth Season

With True Blood’s return date set, more and more information is coming in about what we should expect for the show’s fifth season.
“Things are really, really complicated for Sam and I right now and my daughter.” Janina Gavankar recently told Wetpaint. “As for the vampires, this is the year of a history lesson. You’re going to learn a lot about the vampires this year.”
When asked if there’d be a new mythical creature for this season she first said that wouldn’t be the case for the show’s fifth season. “I don’t think they’re really doing that this year. I really think that we’re going back to teach people about where it all came from. Kind of,” she told them, but then she changed her mind. “That’s not true — there is something, there is a big bad something this year! There’s a big, bad something this year!”
