Today at the CW Upfront Presentation in New York, the network revealed their fall schedule and several nights are gonna be packed with Sci-fi/Fantasy/Paranormal shows for all of us to enjoy!
Here are the deets on when all the show’s we love and will love will air:
Mondays – A returning show will be moving to Mondays. Expect Beauty and the Beast every Monday night at 9pm EST.
Tuesdays – Tuesday night’s will be the home of one of the show’s I’m looking forward to most — The Orignials! It will air at 8pm EST, followed by Supernatural, on a new night at 9pm EST.
Here’s a promo for The Originals:
Wednesdays – Sticking with it’s normal night, Arrow will air on Wednesday nights at 8pm EST and another new show — The Tomorrow People will follow at 9pm EST.
Here’s a clip from The Tomorrow People:
Thursdays — Finally, on Thursdays, it’ll be much the same as it’s been for the past few years. The Vampire Diaries 5th season will air at it’s normal time at 8pm EST, ending all the Sci-fi/Fantasy/Paranormal craziness on the network for the week.
In addition to these shows, there are a few shows scheduled as mid-season replacements.
Star-Crossed about a dramatic teen romance between two kids who first met when his alien spacecraft crashed into Earth. It stars Aimee Teegarden and Matt Lanter.
And, The 100, which is a drama about young people sent back to Earth from spaceships, 50 years after a nuclear holocaust destroyed the planet and the only survivors were those people in the ships.
Finally, the CW Upfront’s are nothing without all the stars of all the shows.
MSN is attempting to enter the on-line original programming arena with the help of X-Box. Currently, they are negotiating to bring Heroes back. Mind you, it only had one good season. Will they start from scratch or erase seasons 2 and 3?
Now, let’s talk about the new chapter in the Star Trek movie franchise… Disney announced at CinemaCon that it wants to release a new Star Wars movie every year from 2015-2019. As we stated before, Disney wanted to also release Star Wars movies that were not part of the next planned sequel. We have heard that one of these movies night be directed by Man of Steel director Zack Snyder. Other rumours have these independent movies would focus on Han Solo or Boba Fett. We just have to wait and see, I guess.
Avengers 2:
Joss Whedon recently remarked that the filming for Avengers 2 would start in February 2014 and he would indeed helm it.

And thanks so much to Maria and Tamara from Last Bite. I did a podcast with them over the weekend which is now available to listen. Tamara and Maria asked some great questions – and did some great editing, because wow, can I ramble, but thankfully they managed to make me sound almost coherent .
