The following are from the What Maisie Knew premiere:
Here is what NPR said of Alexander Skarsgard’s performance in What Maisie Knew: The real surprise is Alexander Skarsgard as Lincoln, a sweetly naive bartender whom Susanna marries in a hurry, purely out of revenge — Beale has married Margo immediately after their divorce. Skarsgard, best known stateside for his brooding intensity as Eric on HBO’s campy vampire soap opera True Blood, plays Lincoln as the tender, caring parental surrogate Maisie needs, presenting him at first as a bit of a simpleton, but then ensuring that that first impression gives way to a sense that he simply shares a childlike natural trust with his new stepdaughter.
He was interviewed by Kelly and Michael and all he could say about the upcoming True Blood season was that for the first time in a millennium, humans are considered a threat to vampires. Dun, dun, duuuuuuuuunnnn…
Here’s a little hotness to help you celebrate St. Patrick’s Day!

As you Truebies know, Alexander Skarsgard was at Sundance and he gave some vague details about the upcoming season of True Blood.
“There’s a big war coming up — a big war.” This is in regards to Billith and he went on to say that “Bill will be back.”
Not to be outshone by the Swede, True Blood creator Alan Ball stated that the creature named Warlow will be defined in season 6. What that means for Sookie, only time will tell. I’m just happy that she has a new potential love interest in season 6.
We want to congratulate Denis O’Hare (Russell Edgington) on the announcement that he and his husband, Hugo Redwood, are close to adopting their foster son who is currently 17-months-old and has been living with them since he was two-weeks-old.
Also, Alexander Skarsgard gave a shoutout to all the fan site that do charitable work.
One more thing, I am so happy that Mad Men did not win… it made the Peter Dinklage loss less painful.
Here’s a very cute, recently released, video from this past summer’s San Diego Comic-con, featuring several of the actors from most of the shows we love:
As the year progresses we will update this section with new books that we think you will like.

And thanks so much to Maria and Tamara from Last Bite. I did a podcast with them over the weekend which is now available to listen. Tamara and Maria asked some great questions – and did some great editing, because wow, can I ramble, but thankfully they managed to make me sound almost coherent .
